evil personified
she prays on the dead
desert woman
veiled in silence
i was so wrong
shame invaded truth
i knew nothing
my eyes failed to ruin
her illuminate reflection
joanna, please stop loving me
i'm too sensitive
joanna, darling lift my spell
I dream in broken images
joanna, with your folded cards
the narcissist woman
joanna, courteous clairvoyant
please stop ruining me woman
evil personified
she prays on the dead
desert woman
veiled in silence
i was so wrong
shame invaded truth
i knew nothing
my eyes failed to ruin
her illuminate reflection
joanna, please stop loving me
i'm too sensitive
joanna, darling lift my spell
i dream in broken images
joanna, with your folded cards
the narcissist woman
joanna, courteous clairvoyant
please stop ruining me woman

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
Another stellar exercise in genre-swapping from Joel Wästber: soul, hip-hop, pop, and singer-songwriting traditions all wrapped up in one. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 18, 2019
A hushed and low-lit EP from this Melbourne musician, where dreamlike melodies drift across a bed of tender guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 19, 2023
