oh my god
who should i be
what is it you want when you come for me?
everytime
you’re another evil
waiting for an angel that you bring to hell
bring to hell
i’ve been through a lot in life
i lived, i loved
distanced from it all
i view myself from above
roaming in the fields of hope
will it make or break me?
cause my dreams are heavy
they outweigh you and me
oh my god
who should i be
what is it you want when you come for me?
everytime
you’re another evil
waiting for an angel that you bring to hell
bring to hell
you, you're, you’re not alone
will it make or break me
you, you're, you’re not alone
oh my god
who should i be
what is it you want when you come for me?
everytime
you’re another evil
waiting for an angel that you bring to hell
bring to hell

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
Another stellar exercise in genre-swapping from Joel Wästber: soul, hip-hop, pop, and singer-songwriting traditions all wrapped up in one. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 18, 2019
A hushed and low-lit EP from this Melbourne musician, where dreamlike melodies drift across a bed of tender guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 19, 2023
